Revolutionizing Solar Design with New Software Features

Experience the Enact Design Software at RE+ in Aneheim

Enact will showcase its updated Enact Solar Design Software, equipped with new features designed to streamline the solar installation process. These enhancements include auto-detection of roof height, pitch and azimuth, as well as integration with Google Solar. The software also offers improved shading analysis, advanced storage modeling and seamless third-party API integration. With these tools, installers can create sales proposals in minutes and speed up the contracting process through DocuSign integration. Following the success of its German-language interface launched in March 2024, Enact is proud to introduce its new Spanish-language interface in September.

Empowering Homeowners with Enhanced Monitoring Tools

Enact will also spotlight the latest updates to its Enact Home solar monitoring app, designed specifically for residential users. Two major new features are set to enhance the user experience: integration with Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) Share My Data feature and a pilot Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) program.

With the PG&E integration, customers can now use the Enact Home app as a centralized platform to effortlessly monitor and manage their energy usage from both solar and grid sources. Enact Home users can now participate in the company’s pioneering REC program, earning certificates for every megawatt-hour of solar energy they send to the grid — making Enact the first consumer platform to offer this opportunity.
