Fortune Energy

Fortune Energy equips contractors and homeowners with information regarding manufacturers and pricing, to ensure accuracy for every project budget! In today’s interview we have William Varn , a customer service representative, who’s going to tell us more about the company.

Can you tell us more about yourself and Fortune Energy?

Fortune Energy is a direct distributor for FranklinWH, SolarEdge, APSystems, Q-Cell, Fronius, Solaria and Canadian Solar.  We sell complete turnkey systems including B.O.S.  We can also special order most items when requested.  We have been in business for over 10 years and I joined the company in 2017.  I am currently the Customer Service Supervisor.  I deal with all RMA’s, damage claims and logistics issues.

Can you tell us what the main focus of your exhibition at Inter Solar Event will be?

Our main focus is meeting new and existing customers to discuss solar industry trends.  We are excited about new partnerships with FranklinWH batteries and Mission Solar panels.  We have a lot of information to offer about financing options and how to build customer relationships.  This is a good opportunity for us to discuss new technology and products from our vendors.  We also network to gather information on solar trends in different areas of the U.S.

What are your upcoming plans in 2023?

We are looking to get our new European location off the ground and shipping out material.  We also want to continue to explore new relationships with vendors so that we can offer our customers the latest and greatest.

Do you have anything you’d like to tell our readers, regarding your services or solar in general?

I have been a lifelong tree hugger.  The solar industry is something I believe in and I have faith this industry will continue growing.  We need our government to continue to encourage the use of alternative energy sources by extending any tax credits.

Hybrid Power Solutions

Hybrid Power Solutions offers solar panels, E.V. chargers, and all the accessories you need to run a sustainable energy system. They design and install residential, commercial, and industrial P.V. systems for mining, railway stations, and military operations — you name it. Francois ByrneCEO & Founder of Hybrid Power Solutions is here today to talk about the company and it’s future plans.

Can you tell us more about yourself and the company?

Hybrid Power Solutions is driven by one, all-consuming belief – that the future of power is fuel-free. That’s why every product we manufacture has been designed based on customer feedback and field testing.

After years of perfecting and testing, we are proud to offer best-in-class durability and reliability across our entire range of solar batteries and portable power packs. Our scalable, code-compliant products are assembled in-house at our Toronto and Parry Sound, Canada, facilities. Built to withstand harsh conditions and power the toughest of jobs, we provide the power you can count on.

Can you tell us what the main focus of your exhibition at Inter Solar Event will be?

We are excited to share the public launch of our new hero product, the Batt Pack Pro. This fuel-free portable power pack provides up to 10,000W of power and is weatherproof, making it the ultimate solar generator even in sub-zero temperatures.

As a small and growing Canadian brand, we are also excited to share our innovations and represent Canada’s clean energy sector on the international stage.

What are your upcoming plans in 2023?

We will release a smaller portable power pack, the Batt Pack Energy, later this year. We are also growing our franchise solar installer network coast to coast and look forward to expanding into the U.S. market.

What other events will you be participating in this year?

We attended S.P.I. for the first time last year and hope to do so again this fall. We are also attending several consumer-facing and military shows as we build our brand.

Do you have anything you’d like to tell our readers regarding your services or solar in general?

We do things a bit differently at Hybrid Power Solutions, and we’re proud of that. We aren’t the cheapest, but our focus has never been to compete on price. When it comes to your power source, reliability is everything. That’s why we refuse to use anything but the highest quality, pro-grade components, and we assemble everything in-house, ensuring top-notch quality control.

This is just the beginning for Hybrid Power Solutions. We’re not just big dreamers; we’re doers. We’re constantly coming up with new ideas and love to push the boundaries of what is possible. We’ve got some never before seen ideas in the pipeline, so buckle up. It’s going to be a wild ride.

This year, our main focus for the Intersolar exhibition is on two of our new product updates, which will further enhance the process of solar storage design and usage for our users.

As more battery companies launch in the US and Californian policy changes ahead of NEM 3.0, we want to showcase our powerful solar plus storage design capabilities. We have launched NEM 3.0 rates on our platform, so our users can easily visualise and showcase the impact of NEM 3.0 on savings and paybacks for their proposals.

Our consumer app has new powerful inbuilt capabilities of tracking system outages and managing referrals. We are also expanding the white-labelled usage of our app for solar providers and installers, to help our users build their brands.
