ENACT Platform launches Solar Permit Services at SPI 2016
September 13, 2016, San Ramon, CA.
ENACT SYSTEMS, the leading end-to-end business process automation platform for distributed solar projects, announced a major expansion to its platform capabilities at Solar Power International – Las Vegas, 2016.
The platform now allows its users to obtain solar permit packages directly from its cloud-based software platform. To offer this service ENACT worked in partnership with leading civil engineering firm Zenith Engineers. To start with, California was the first market and will soon expand to others.
Users can request and receive permit packages within a 24-hour turn-around. Their preliminary solar proposal information is shared with the structural engineers, which saves time. Zenith’s rate of first-time permit approvals is almost 99%. Stamped drawings for both structural and electrical permit packages are available from licensed engineers based locally in California.
Moving forward, ENACT plans to open additional markets. It will be in partnership with leading engineering companies for each area looking to benefit from ENACT’s live automation platform. In this way offering more value to its contractor customers. ENACT’s solar platform automates sales proposals, design, financing and operations for residential and commercial solar projects. This new feature improves workflow efficiency and reduces costs. This has been visible to more than 200 solar developers using the solar energy platform in 27 U.S. states.
